Destiny 2 Dawning 2021 Guide | All Recipes and Ingredients
The Destiny 2 Dawning 2021 is finally here, and just like last year, the Tower is full of snow and decorated for the winter Holidays.
As always, the Dawning event also brings back Eva Levante to the Tower, and she wants you to, as last year, bake some cookies and other recipes to gift to all your allies in Destiny 2.
In our Destiny 2 Dawning 2021 guide, we will show you how to bake every recipe and how to get all the ingredients for it.
How Baking Works
To start things up, you will need to speak with Eva Levante in the Tower, and she will give you a Dawning intro quest and your Eva’s Holiday Oven 2.1.
To bake a recipe, open your Quest menu and interact with Eva’s Holiday Oven 2.1.
You will need to combine two ingredients and some Essence of Dawning to bake a recipe, and once you’ve done one, that one will be added to the recipes list in the Oven.
Once they are on the recipes list, you will be able to bake them again without having to combine the ingredients again.
On the other hand, the Essence of Dawning is acquirable by completing activities and bounties, but depending on the activities you do, you may gain more or less Essence of Dawning.
And one thing to note is that when you discover all the recipes you will be able to Masterwork your Oven, and with that, you will reduce the cost of 15 Essence of Dawning to 10 per recipe.
How To Get Every Ingredient
Eva Levante will give you some bounties that will reward you with some of the ingredients, with that you have an easy and guaranteed way to get some ingredients.
But every ingredient also has its unique way to be obtained, as you can see below.

Each recipe will consist of three ingredients, an uncommon, a rare one, and 15 Essence of Dawning.
The Essence of Dawning is acquirable by completing activities and bounties, but depending on the activities you do, you may gain less or more Essence of Dawning.
Any recipes that you have discovered in the previous Dawning events will still be in your recipes list.

Once you’ve baked every recipe, you can masterwork your oven, which will reduce the Essence of Dawning cost to 10 per recipe.
You should do one of each recipe before completing Eva’s quests to Masterwork the Oven and reduce the Essence of Dawning cost.
Rewards
This year, the Dawning event weapon is the Zephyr sword, which is an Adaptive Stasis sword with a new perk called Cold Steel, which slows enemies on powered attacks.
To unlock the first Zephyr and then be able to farm it, you will have to complete The Pigeon Provides quest, which is given to you by Saint-14. The quest is pretty straightforward, and you should do it as soon as possible to unlock the sword.
And also like the previous years, you can acquire more Zephyr’s, as well as old Dawning weapons like Cold Front and Glacioclasm, just by gifting cookies to the NPCs.
