The Vow of the Disciple raid was added with Destiny 2: The Witch Queen expansion and will need you to venture inside a Darkness Pyramid to fight Rhulk, Disciple of the Witness, which is a new enemy that Savathun locked away.

Collective Obligation

The Collective Obligation is an exotic Void Pulse Rifle that you can equip in the energy slot.

Its intrinsic trait is as follows: this weapon leeches Void debuffs when damaging targets that are suppressed, weakened, or volatile. Once charged, press the reload button to swap firing mode. In this mode, damage from this weapon applies the same Void debuffs that were leeched.

Also, its Exotic Perk is called Umbral Sustenance which automatically reloads the weapon when players gain the Devour effect, have a Void overshield applied, or become invisible.

This exotic weapon is unlocked by completing the final encounter of the Raid, with that defeating Rhulk, Disciple of the Witness, and completing the Vow Of The Disciple raid, in addition, the Collective Obligation has an extremely rare drop rate, and you can only attempt to earn it once per week per character.
