All Clues In Presage Locations Guide

The Presage mission in addition to offering a new Exotic weapon also has a bunch of scannable items and a lot of lore.

If you are completing all the Season of the Chosen Triumphs, you for sure will want to find all the Presage scannables in Destiny 2.

There are a total of 15 scannable items in the Presage mission and they are divided into three separate Triumphs.

In the first week, the mission was released, Guardians could find and scan only five items for the Triumph Figments of an Answer.

Then in the following week, an additional six items were unlocked and were able to be scanned for the Triumph Another Link in the Chain.

And in the third week after the release of the Presage mission, an additional 4 items were unlocked to be able to be scanned for the Triumph All the Scattered Pieces.

However, note that if players failed to find and scan all the items in the first week, the new scannable items will not be unlocked in the following week. You will have to scan all the items available before the weekly reset so that the new items can be scanned.

With all that said, here are all the scannable items in the Presage mission:

Figments of an Answer

1. Dead Cabal

The first clue is a dead Cabal hanging upside down from some vines. This is found right after you do the first jumping puzzle outside the ship and make your way back inside.

When you grab the first Egregore Link and go through the barrier of mist, the dead Cabal will be right in front of you.

2. Scorn tether shell

The Scorn tether shell is where you find the first electrical grid. You will have to jump across the first gap and around the cylinder hanging from the ceiling.

And right before the barrier of mist, on the right of it, you will find the Scorn shell.

3. Guardian opulent ship

The next clue you can scan is a Guardian’s ship somewhat inspired by emperor Calus.

You will find the ship in the hangar combat area after you clear out all the scorn in that area and just before you proceed to the jumping platform outside, just beside it you will see the ship.

4. Dark ether canisters

The Dark ether canisters can be found in the room where there is an electrical grid blocking off the upper area.

Once you get into the upper area, right after the electric grid, you will have to turn left and you will see the canisters right in front.

5. Calus hologram

The last clue to scan for the Figments of an Answer Triumph is just after the boss fight, but before you drop down to the dead Guardian area.

After defeating the boss, proceed to the dead Guardian area, but when you fall down through the first grate in the ground instead of going forward turn around and jump over the small obstacle.

There you will find a hologram with Calus’s head.

Another Link in the Chain

The Another Link in the Chain Triumph has 6 more clues to scan. But these new 6 clues will only be unlocked to scan in the weekly reset after you have scanned the previous five items.

6. Computer terminal

The first clue for the Another Link in the Chain Triumph is after you pick up the first Egregore Link buff and pass into the room with the hanging down dead Cabal.

When you jump up onto the pipe and into the vent, right after you pass through the vent there is a computer terminal on the wall on the left.

7. Cabal Scorpius turret

The next clue is a broken Scorpius turret in the section of the electrical grids. When you pass the first electrical grid and face the area with the two canisters hanging from the ceiling, turn to the left and you will see the broken turret.

8. Cabal Incinerator

The next clue is a Cabal Incinerator’s backpack, and you can find it after the hangar combat area.

Jump to the platform outside and into the next hangar, and below the ship, you will find the Incinerator’s backpack.

9. Dead Scorn

The next clue is a dead Scorn lying on the circular terminal in the center of the room right after the space hangar.

Jump through the vent tunnels and back into the inside of the ship. You will eventually arrive in a room where there is a dead Scorn on a circular terminal in the center of the room.

10. Dead Ghost

The next clue is a dead ghost that you can find in the area with the two spinning platforms right before the Boss fight.

When you jump across the two spinning platforms, instead of jumping up to the left where there is a Scorn sniper, go to the right and you will find the dead ghost behind some boxes.

11. Chalice

The final clue for this Triumph is a chalice that is in the room with the dead Guardian right after you’ve defeated the boss.

You can find the chalice sitting on a pile of Cabal gold under the walkway where you entered the room.

All the Scattered Pieces

The All the Scattered Pieces Triumph has 4 more clues to scan. But these new 4 clues will only be unlocked to scan in the weekly reset after you have scanned the previous 6 items.

So to be able to scan these items you will have to have scanned the previous 11 items.

Note that you can only scan one group of clues every weekly reset until you’ve scanned all of them.

So be aware that you cannot scan the clues of Another Link in the Chain and then the ones in All the Scattered Pieces in one week.

12. Frame

The first clue for the All the Scattered Pieces Triumph is a frame leaning up against a computer terminal.

You can find the frame when you encounter the first electrical grid, right before the first lever in the electrical grid room.

The frame is on the left side of the room next to a computer terminal.

13. Ship part

You can find the next clue right after the hangar combat area when you jump to the outside platform to get into the next hangar.

When you are on the outside platform, look at the side of the Glykon ship and you will see some kind of antenna attached to the wall, jump to the upper platform and scan it.
